TOWNR was born from the idea of going together. From long road trips in a worn-out family van — crowded, imperfect, full of laughter — to the belief that the best journeys aren’t luxurious. They’re shared.
The original Towner wasn’t fast, and it wasn’t flawless.
But it took us places together.
Pamela, Elisabet, Natalia and Ana Maria.
Today TOWNR carries that same spirit into the world. Students don’t just visit a place. They belong to it. And that is where the second meaning comes in.
The R is the role you take when you arrive. You are not a tourist. You are a towner — someone who lives, learns and experiences a town like a local.
TOWNR turns destinations into memories, and strangers into family. It was never about the destination. It is about how you travel.
Sales & Partnerships
Pamela has spent a decade in enterprise sales, from Cisco Meraki and SAP in San Francisco to SAP Ariba, Uber for Business, and now Versent in Sydney, where she is Director of Enterprise Growth for Asia-Pacific. She has negotiated contracts with some of the region’s largest organizations.
Compliance & Administration
Elisabet has managed international events for more than fifteen years, currently with Sparks and previously as an International Project Manager at Derse. Delivering projects on six continents means local regulations, insurance, permits and vendors are routine work for her rather than an emergency. She has a background in business and communications.
Program & Camp Operations
Natalia has coordinated cultural and English-language camps for international students across five US cities, handling groups of up to a hundred: accommodation, transport, meals, excursions and academic schedules. Before that she led production for a corporate training team in Orlando. She has traveled to more than thirty countries.
ESL & Culture Education
Ana is a CELTA-qualified English teacher, entrepreneur, and the founder of We Are Gringos, an online language school and translation company now in its seventh year. She has spent the last three years managing camps in Singapore, Japan, Australia, and across the United States, and holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Students are her lane: who they are, how they are grouped, and how they are looked after from arrival to departure.
All four of us speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so feel free to reach out to us in whichever language you’re most comfortable with.
